Is the water level where it is supposed to be? The pump is obviously sucking in air from somewhere. Check everything that runs to the tank from the pump to make sure it's not sucking in air somewhere

post a picture to help us out.
Here are some possible culprits to check off your list...
    1. make sure your pump is not next to the overflow
    2. make sure the sump portion of the tank isn't low on water
    3. make sure the display isn't low on water
    4. the outlet of the pump should not break the surface of the water it should be deep enough just to cause ripples on the water surface

If its not one of these issues then it could possibly be just your tank settling in and trapped air pockets escaping. Again post a picture or two to help us help you. good luck.

Check your skimmer. They can cause microbubbles. Do you run any reactors? You can shut things off one at a time to see if the problem disappears.

OK well i fixed the Micro Bubble
It took spinning the pump around and putting a better sponge in front of it
the other problem was that i had the second chamber empty waiting on skimmer
and such that there was to much water just falling and it was making lots and lots
of larger bubbles so some more sponge work fixed all this

    thanks
