what type of sea fan are you looking for? Any color, specifics?

I culture a South Pacific species given to me by Julian Sprung, as well as two Atlantics. To be clear, these are sea plumes commonly called sea fans.

If you really are looking for a true Sea Fan (flat plane) you'll almost certainly need to get an Atlantic species as they ship "less bad" than Pacific wild ones. You also will need so much water flow to keep it alive that you will be excluded from keeping more corals than not. Do be sure you have done your homework here. Sea fans are truly for experts with specialized tanks and live plankton fed daily or near daily.

Thanks for the info everyone. Anthony, I think I will wait a while. I plan on doing an insane 200gal in-wall setup with a custom fishroom over the next couple years. Once that is done I should have the capabilities to properly care for them. Until then I will keep reading!
