Friday I woke up to find out my main pump in my sump, that returns the water to the display stop working, the silence was deafening and as I looked into the problem I started with the pump and proceeded to dismount it and gave it a good vinegar bath, since it was purchased this past May I did not expect that to be the problem. I then check the electrical as far as I could see there was no issue there. I then called Chris at salty supply, this is a Waveline DC12000 Internal/External Pump w/Controller and he asked me to send him a picture of the controller (see picture 1)
Chris then explained that thereís an updated control (see picture 2) the old one was overheating because the fan was in the backside and was being smothered when mounted (see picture 3)
Chris overnighted one at my expense for the shipping.
I then moved my heater into the main display and set my
Vortech pumps at a higher setting
Iím now back up and running.
I was supposed to be in San Francisco not sure how this would have turned out being away. Looks like I dodged a bullet this time.

You would think if they know that, they would of sent me the new design. Now that would of been service worth telling people about
